Happy anniversary to The Spheres!

Join us June 3 on the Day 1 Playfield as we celebrate this recognizable landmark and the more than 40,000 plant friends that call this workspace home. The fifth anniversary event will feature a plant sale, tabling with friends of The Spheres, and panel discussions with some of our integral partners. We encourage folks to think big, learn, and be curious as we celebrate the community that made this project possible.

Booths include:

  1. Oxbow Farms and Conservation Center
  2. Puget Sound Public Gardens
  3. Woodland Park Zoo
  4. Washington Rare Plant Care and Conservation, University of Washington
  5. Windcliff Nursery
  6. The Amazon Horticulture Program

Panels include:

11–11:30 a.m.: Ron Gagliardo and John Savo discuss the history of The Spheres

12:30–1 p.m.: Daniel Hinkley and Matt Wood introduce The Urban Arboretum in South Lake Union

2–2:30 p.m.: Ben Eiben and Justin Schroeder talk about the state of The Spheres today

This event is free of charge and open to the public. Due to popularity, The Spheres will only be accessible for those who book a visit time for Public Saturday. Amazon employees and the public alike should reserve a visit time, which go live on May 19, in order to enter The Spheres on June 3.

We hope to see you there! Find us outside of The Spheres, on the Day 1 Playfield, at 2121 7th Ave in Seattle.
