The Urban Arboretum
The Urban Arboretum, maintained by Amazon Horticulture, provides Amazonians and community members a connection to nature in the center of Seattle's urban core. As you walk through Amazon's Puget Sound headquarters, we invite you to experience this urban botanical garden, which reflects the diverse plant palette represented within The Spheres.

Doppler and Meeting Center Breezeway

landscape at the Doppler Breezeway

Head from 7th Avenue up the Breezeway, toward 6th Avenue. The Breezeway connects Amazon Doppler and the Amazon Meeting Center and creates a community space for safe foot traffic, public art, and neighborhood businesses. Look down as you pass through to enjoy the plant life that resides in the Breezeway.

The fern-filled woodland landscape of this mid-block corridor hosts a variety of seasonal surprises, from the iridescent blue berries of the evergreen hydrangea (Dichroa febrifuga) to the bold foliage, mysterious flowers, and radiant fruit of the Himalaya cobra lily (Arisaema consanguineum). The lush planting beds are complemented by the sculpture Petros by Julie Spiedel that towers above you.
